Liz Song is the Creator of Snowqueen & Scout, a website dedicated to making wilderness backpacking simple for women who are just starting out. She’s a certified Wilderness EMT, instructor with Aerie Backcountry Medicine, and freelance designer. Liz has previously spoken at TEDActive and the Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education and her photography has been published in USA Today, Huffington Post, CNN and Daily News. She’s an avid backpacker, hiker, and bike tourer who got started later in life, but loves figuring out how to incorporate the outdoors amidst changing life stages.
