Diversity & Inclusion In Our Wild Spaces

From The Muir Project, messaging and scenic highlights from the Muir Campfire Discussion on Diversity, Inclusion and Relevancy, held May 14-16, 2015, in Yosemite National Park. The conference of outdoors and conservation professionals and representatives was organized by Teresa Baker, leader of the grassroots organization African American National Parks Event, and Robert Hanna, the great great grandson of John Muir, who met with President Theodore Roosevelt on the same grounds in 1903 to discuss preservation of the country’s wild lands.
